I'm a middle school science teacher in San Francisco, and a natural history inspired artist. I’m in love with the many-legged (and no-legged) critters of the world that live in the tides, in the air, and under rocks. (I also really like rocks all by themselves.)
I'm particularly interested in how human evolution and biology gives insight to many of our modern day issues. Fight or flight taken up a notch.
My work can be seen in National Geographic, The Huffington Post, bioGraphic, Scholastic, Insider, and several Bay Area nature magazines. I specialize in video production and comic/infographic/editorial illustration mostly around themes of natural history.
