December Newsletter

Updated: Dec 14, 2023

We made it to December everyone,

The winter months mean more staff absences due to sickness, and when this happens we get "splits". This is due to the lack of substitutes in our district. The kids without a subsitute get "split" into 2-4 teacher's classrooms, so you end up getting 8-12 random kids you have to supervise while you're trying to teach your own lesson. It's beyond frustrating. But we're getting by, counting the days until winter vacation.

December work of the Month: I started my hand sewn wild animal series!

Dember Commissions are open! This month's commission special is a 'wild animals in technicolor', 8"x8" piece ($175) in. Style can be seen below.

Throwback

It's a hand drawn "infographic"!
